Collaboration Between MKP and Jatiluwih Tourist Village: Advancing Sustainable Tourism Through E-Ticketing
The cooperation agreement between MKP and Jatiluwih Tourism Village has been successfully signed, establishing the implementation of a non-cash e-ticketing system.

On September 5, 2024, a significant cooperation agreement was signed between PT Mitra Kasih Perkasa (MKP) and the management of Jatiluwih Tourist Village. This partnership intends to implement an e-ticketing system aimed at facilitating cashless transactions for visitors.

Jatiluwih Tourist Village, situated in Bali Province, is taking strides towards the digitalization of its tourism offerings. By collaborating with MKP, a leading traffic intelligence company, Jatiluwih Tourist Village plans to operate with a fully cashless transaction model for ticket purchases starting October 1, 2024.

The ceremony marking this agreement was attended by notable representatives, including Nicholas Anggada, CEO and Co-Founder of MKP, and Ketut Purna Jhon, the Head of Jatiluwih Tourist Village. The event was held at the site of the tourist village, underscoring the commitment of both organizations to this initiative.

Mr. Anggada emphasized that the implementation of the e-ticketing system reflects MKP's dedication to providing efficient, transparent, and accountable management solutions for tourism. He stated, “Today, we formalized our partnership with Jatiluwih Tourist Village to advance our collective vision of fostering environmentally sustainable tourism.”

This collaboration highlights the commitment to enhancing digital capabilities within the tourism sector. It aligns with Jatiluwih Tourist Village's objective of promoting sustainable tourism practices by reducing reliance on cash transactions, thereby minimizing ecological impact. The village is renowned for its traditional Subak irrigation system, which supports rice cultivation, integrating agricultural practices into its tourism model to benefit the local economy.

This partnership is also consistent with MKP's goals of contributing to local economic development through increased local revenue (PAD). The introduction of an e-ticketing system aims to reduce transaction vulnerabilities while simplifying the transaction recording process for visitors.

Visitors to Jatiluwih Tourist Village will have various options for ticket payments, including debit cards, credit cards, and QRIS. Shortly, the tourist village plans to offer online ticket purchases through its official website.

With the deployment of the e-ticketing system, all ticket transaction data will be automatically integrated into the MKP system. Moreover, MKP's Unified Dashboard will provide real-time access to transaction details for tourism site management. This partnership positions MKP not only as a trusted facilitator in the implementation of the e-ticketing system but also as a developer of a comprehensive online ticket sales platform.

Mr. Purna Jhon remarked that the e-ticketing initiative represents a significant step towards modernizing tourism in the region and underscores their commitment to sustainable practices. He expressed optimism that this cooperation will enhance the digitalization of tourism in Jatiluwih, ultimately providing a more comfortable and efficient experience for visitors.

Moving forward, this collaboration is anticipated to foster further advancements in digitalization within Jatiluwih Tourist Village, ensuring that the ticket purchasing process is streamlined, expedient, and secure for all tourists.
